San Antonio, TX - Injuries in 18-wheeler Crash at I-10 & Wurzbach Rd

San Antonio, TX (April 19, 2024) - There were reported injuries after a two-vehicle collision in the San Antonio area on Wednesday, April 17. The crash was reported on Interstate 10 EB near Wurzbach Road early that morning around 7 a.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. 

Local reports revealed that an 18-wheeler collided with another passenger vehicle on the interstate. Multiple lanes were closed as local authorities were present to provide aid to the involved parties. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the road to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
