The driver of the passenger vehicle, 58-year-old Lucinda McKennon Cochran of Canyon Lake, suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The impact caused the semi-truck to head down an embankment where it entered the main lanes of the interstate. The truck driver was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available.
