When a large truck is on the road, everyone is in danger. Statistics show that nearly 98 percent of the 500,000 truck crashes that happen every year in the United States involve passenger cars, and over 130,000 people are hurt annually in trucking accidents nationwide. Statistics also confirm that a substantial number of trucking accidents result in fatal injuries. On Texas highways, large trucks are common, and all over the state, these vehicles contribute to devastating car accidents known to cause fatalities and severe injuries to their victims. There is significant force involved in a trucking accident, and those traveling in smaller vehicles are more likely to sustain serious injuries. You need to be ready to get to work on pursuing a claim for compensation if you were injured in a trucking accident.
