The accident occurred on US-75 near Parker Road early that morning at around 5:15 a.m. It was reported that two tractor-trailers and two other vehicles were involved in the accident, and the impact caused one of the semis to catch fire. 

Emergency responders were dispatched and found one of the tractor-trailers on its side on fire. Two people involved in the collision were hospitalized for treatment. One of the commercial vehicles lost control before hitting one of the other vehicles, causing the accident. 

A nearby samaritan was able to help rescue the trucker from the burning rig. No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
