Palestine, TX - Injuries in Deadly Rollover Accident on TX-155

Palestine, TX (March 5, 2024) - One person was killed, and others were injured after a single-vehicle accident outside of Palestine on Saturday, March 2. The deadly accident was reported on TX-155. Local reports indicated that the victims were traveling in a vehicle when it started to skid on the highway. 

The 2005 Chrysler Pacifica crossed the median and overturned. The driver was ejected in the crash. The driver, later identified as 45-year-old Julie Warden of Jacksonville, FL, suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Other passengers in the vehicle were transported to a hospital in Tyler for treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the fatal crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are managing an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
