Paducah, TX - Teen Killed in Rollover on Co Rd 404

Paducah, TX (April 29, 2024) - A teenage passenger was killed and several others were hurt after a single-vehicle accident in the Paducah area on Sunday, April 28. The deadly accident was reported on County Road 404. The victims were traveling in a pickup truck on the roadway when they left the road and entered a nearby ditch. 

The truck rolled and hit a fence and power pole before coming to a stop on its roof. A 13-year-old passenger in the pickup suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A driver and two other passengers were transported to Childress Regional Medical Center by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
