Lubbock, TX - One Seriously Hurt in Crash at Slide Rd & Chicago Ave

Lubbock, TX (March 11, 2024) - One person suffered serious injuries after a vehicle collision in the Lubbock area on Saturday, March 9. The accident occurred late that night at around 11:48 at the crossing of Slide Road and Chicago Avenue. All lanes were closed as emergency crews responded to the scene. 

One person suffered serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center by ambulance. At this time, no updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided. The roadway was later reopened to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. No further information on the crash is currently available.
