The Dodge crashed into the commercial truck and overturned, causing Love to be ejected from the vehicle. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision was reported on TX-302 near mile marker 232 early that morning around 1:35 a.m. Local reports revealed that a Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a 2016 Freightliner truck with a trailer.
