Houston, TX - Woman Faints, Killed by 18-Wheeler on Franklin St

Houston, TX (September 23, 2023) - Late on Friday, September 22, a woman was killed after being hit by an 18-wheeler in the Houston area. 

The deadly accident was reported at the 900 block of Franklin Street near Travis Street that evening at around 7 p.m. The victim was a woman in her 20s. She was reportedly not feeling well when she fainted and fell onto the roadway, where she was hit by an oncoming semi-truck. 

The vehicle reportedly did not have any logos or markings on it but was described as a newer truck with a gray cab and a white trailer. The identity of the deceased party has been withheld at this time.
