Houston, TX - Truck Crash with Injuries at S Freeway & Sam Houston Pkwy

Houston, TX (April 22, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle accident in the Houston area on Sunday, April 21. The crash was reported early that morning around 3:17 a.m. at the intersection of S. Freeway NB and S. Sam Houston Parkway. A commercial truck collided with two other vehicles on the roadway. 

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The circumstances leading to the collision were not included in the local reports. Those requiring further support were later transferred to nearby hospitals by ambulance for additional treatment. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage in order to reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
