Hewitt, TX - Semi-Truck Rollover with Injuries at Sun Valley Blvd & Old Temple Rd

Hewitt, TX (January 13, 2024) - A rollover involving a commercial truck in the Hewitt area on Friday, January 12, resulted in injuries. The crash took place at the corner of Sun Valley Boulevard and Old Temple Road early that morning at around 8:22 a.m. The semi-truck was traveling near the intersection when it overturned. 

The area was closed to outside traffic while emergency crews were present. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel, and those requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized. The number and severity of the related injuries have not been determined. 

The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
