Hearne, TX - Driver, Passenger Injured in U-turn Accident on TX-6

Hearne, TX (March 10, 2024) - Two people were hurt after a two-vehicle collision in the Hearne area on Friday, March 6. The accident took place that morning on TX-6 near Motiva Enterprises. According to local sources, a Dodge pickup truck and a Ford pickup truck collided at the scene. 

Local reports revealed that both vehicles were traveling southbound on the highway at the time of the crash. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Ford attempted a U-turn and collided with the Dodge. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render the necessary aid. 

The driver and passenger in the Ford were transported to CHI St. Joseph Hospital by ambulance for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their conditions have been provided at this time. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
