Garland, TX - Injuries in Two-Car Collision at Buckingham & Jupiter Rd

Garland, TX (April 10, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries after a major auto accident in the Garland area on Monday, April 8. The crash was reported at the corner of Buckingham Road and N. Jupiter Road that evening around 6 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of the incident. 

Local reports revealed that two vehicles collided at the scene. A Tesla and a Toyota were traveling through the intersection when Toyota crashed into the side of the other vehicle. The Toyota sustained significant front-end damage, while the left side of the Tesla was damaged. The Toyota was able to drive away from the scene, but tow trucks were needed to remove the Tesla. The drivers were able to pull over into the parking lot of a nearby Starbucks after the impact. 

A 34-year-old female driver was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No additional information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
