The rider, later identified as 26-year-old Henry John Wiedmeyer of Horizon, was unable to slow down and avoid hitting the trailer. Wiedmeyer suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked to clear the scene.
