El Paso, TX - Deadly Semi-Truck Accident on I-10 at Lee Trevino Dr

El Paso, TX (March 25, 2024) - There was a fatality reported after a trucking accident in the El Paso area on Saturday, March 23. The deadly collision took place that afternoon around 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 EB near Lee Trevino Drive. Local reports indicated that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene. One person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead by attending medical personnel. Another person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. Five vehicles reportedly collided at the scene prompting road closures. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided at this time. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
