Corpus Christi, TX - Two Border Patrol Agents Hurt in Crash with Semi on US-285

Corpus Christi, TX (May 6, 2023) - Two border patrol agents were injured following a traffic accident involving an 18-wheeler in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, May 2. 

The accident was reported on US-285 at around 3 p.m. It was reported that the semi-truck and a patrol unit were traveling in the same direction when they collided. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined at this time. 

Both officers were hospitalized for treatment. No updates on their conditions have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
