Castroville, TX - Woman Extricated in Injury 18-Wheeler Crash at US-90 & Mechler Ln

Castroville, TX (January 4, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries after a crash involving a semi-truck in the Castroville area on Wednesday, January 3. The accident occurred on US-90 near Mechler Lane early that morning at around 6:20 a.m. A crash involving an 18-wheeler was reported on the highway, and a woman had to be extricated by responding emergency units. 

The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. No updates on her condition have been provided at this time.
