Austin, TX - One Seriously Injured in Crash with Semi-Truck at I-35 & Riverside Dr

Austin, TX (March 30, 2023) - One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Austin on Tuesday morning, March 28. 

The collision was reported at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Riverside Drive at around 6:15 a.m. It was reported that a gray pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler, and the impact caused the pickup to catch fire. An adult victim was pinned inside the vehicle. 

The injured party was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in serious condition. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
