Austin, TX (April 6, 2024) - A two-vehicle collision in the Austin area resulted in confirmed injuries on Thursday, April 4. The collision was reported in the Austin area on early that morning around 8:06 a.m. at the 501 block of E. St. Johns Avenue. It was later revealed that a semi-truck and a motorcycle collided at the scene.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. The injured rider was treated for a broken arm and possibly a broken leg at the scene. The crash victim was later transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. The area was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
