Caldwell, TX - Injuries in Deadly Auto Accident on TX-36

Caldwell, TX (April 16, 2024) - There were multiple injuries reported after a fatal car wreck outside of Caldwell on Monday, April 16. The deadly crash was reported on TX-36 early that morning around 6:10 a.m. Local reports revealed that two vehicles collided at the scene. 

The circumstances leading to the deadly crash have not been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. It was later reported that the deceased victim was a senior at Somerville High School. Three juveniles who attended Somerville Elementary School were also hurt in the collision. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, no further updates on the fatal accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
