Houston, TX - Two Hospitalized in 18-wheeler Rollover on I-45

Houston, TX (April 10, 2024) - Two people were hospitalized following a crash involving an overturned semi-truck in the Houston area on Tuesday, April 9. The incident was reported at the 14800 block of Interstate 45 NB early that morning around 6 a.m. Local reports revealed that an 18-wheeler was on its side when emergency crews arrived. 

It was later reported that the big rig was on its side before crashing into another vehicle, causing the car to enter the HOV lane. Two people were reportedly traveling in the vehicle, and both were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The truck was reportedly carrying hazardous materials, and the area was closed for several hours while emergency units worked to clear the scene. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
