Kerrville, TX - Toddler Fatally Hit in Driveway on Pearl St

Kerrville, TX (April 8, 2024) - On Saturday, April 6, a toddler was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in a private driveway in the Kerrville area. The deadly accident was reported on Pearl Street near Paschal Avenue that afternoon around 2:30 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene after being notified of a two-year-old who had been hit by a motor vehicle. 

The injured party was provided immediate medical aid by responding paramedics. The crash victim was later transferred to Peterson Regional Medical by ambulance. They later succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead. Local sources indicated that the driver was backing out of a driveway when the child ran into the path of the vehicle and was hit. No charges have been filed at this time. No additional information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
