Fort Worth, TX - Pedestrian Dies in Accident on US-287

Fort Worth, TX (April 7, 2024) - A man was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Fort Worth area on Friday, April 5. The deadly accident was reported at the 3900 block of US-287 late that evening around 9 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of a serious pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

Local reports revealed that a man was traveling on foot in the northbound lanes of the highway when he was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
