Semi-Truck Accidents in Texas

Austin, TX - 18-Wheeler Injury Crash at E Slaughter Ln & Brandt RdCatastrophic injuries are common in collisions involving a large commercial truck, especially for individuals driving smaller cars. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Fatality Analysis Reporting System indicates that 643 truck-related fatalities occurred in Texas in 2020. A total of 180 of these deaths involved people traveling in passenger cars. Most of these fatal collisions occurred at speeds over 65 miles per hour on major highways.
