Fort Worth, TX - Passenger Killed in Crash at McCart Ave & Edgecliff Rd

Fort Worth, TX (March 16, 2024) - A passenger was killed after a car accident in the Fort Worth area on Thursday, March 14. The deadly accident occurred at the corner of McCart Avenue and Edgecliff Road at around 4:10 p.m. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

A passenger and driver of one of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The passenger later succumbed to their injuries. The deceased party was later identified as Laura Janet McTaggart of Euless. She was reportedly pronounced dead at around 7:40 p.m. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been provided. No further information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
