Driving is a way of life for most Texans, and in most cities in the state, you cannot get too far without a car. Sadly, this has contributed to the state’s high rate of serious car accidents. Statistics show that the number of serious collisions in the state is rising. A total of 555,586 traffic accidents were reported across the Lone Star State in 2022, increasing to 558,953 crashes in the following year. This means more than 1,500 crashes were reported daily across the state, 46,579 collisions monthly, and 10,748 accidents weekly. The vehicle fatality rate in Texas has risen by more than 7 percent in recent years. If you or someone close to you is seriously hurt by the actions of a reckless driver, a qualified attorney will be able to fight for your rights to ensure you can achieve the best possible outcome for your case.
You can never predict if and when you will be involved in a sudden car accident. This is largely due to the fact that you cannot completely control the actions of another driver. It only takes a few seconds for someone to hit you on the road, potentially leaving you or someone you love with life-threatening injuries. While you can never stop a crash, you can still pursue compensation via a personal injury claim with the help of a talented attorney.
