Dallas, TX - Fatal High-Speed Crash at Maple Ave & Knight St

Dallas, TX (March 12, 2024) - There were fatal injuries reported after a vehicle collision in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas on Monday, March 11. The deadly crash occurred at the corner of Maple Avenue and Knight Street just before midnight. Local reports indicated that a passenger car and a sport utility vehicle collided at the scene underneath the Dallas North Tollway overpass. 

Initial reports indicated that excess speeds were involved in the collision. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. 

Both drivers suffered injuries in the crash, and one was killed in the impact. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided.
