Lubbock, TX - Pedestrian Killed, Hit by Two Cars on 4th St

Lubbock, TX (March 11, 2024) - A pedestrian was killed after being hit by two vehicles in the Lubbock area on Saturday, March 9. Early that morning at around 2:28 a.m., local authorities were notified of a pedestrian vehicle accident at the 3200 block of 4th Street. When emergency crews arrived, they found the injured party lying on the roadway in serious condition. 

The victim was traveling on foot on the westbound lanes of the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle and another. He was transported to University Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries where he was later pronounced dead. The deceased victim was later identified as 39-year-old Mistrang Ndikum. 

The driver involved in the crash failed to remain at the scene. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the fatal pedestrian crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
