Brownsville, TX - 18-Wheeler Accident with Injuries on Expressway 77

Brownsville, TX (January 18, 2024) - On Wednesday night, January 17, there were reported injuries following a semi-truck accident in the Brownsville area. The accident was reported on Expressway 77 near the exit for Rancho Viejo late that evening. Local reports revealed that an 18-wheeler and another vehicle were involved in the crash. 

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. The crash victims were treated at the scene, and those requiring further support were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. No further information on the accident has been provided. Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation, and more details will be provided as the investigation continues.
