Nacogdoches, TX - Injuries in 18-Wheeler Crash at US-59 & FM 225

Nacogdoches, TX (December 29, 2023) - At least one person was hurt after a crash involving a semi-truck in the Nacogdoches area on Wednesday evening, December 27. The accident took place on US-59 near Farm to Market Road 225 late that night. An 18-wheeler was traveling on the highway when it was involved in an accident. 

The highway was limited to a single lane as of 8 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and the roadway was closed for several hours. The victims requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized for further aid. At this time, no further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
