Fort Worth, TX - Trucker Hurt in Fiery 18-Wheeler Crash at Loop 820 & Team Ranch Rd

Fort Worth, TX (December 28, 2023) - A semi-truck caught fire after crashing into a parked minivan in the Fort Worth area on Tuesday morning, December 26. The accident was reported at W. Loop 820 and Team Ranch Road at around 7 a.m. The operator of the 18-wheeler lost control and crossed several lanes of traffic where it hit a parked minivan. 

The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire. The truck driver was able to escape the burning 18-wheeler. He was treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
