Anthony, TX - Injuries Reported Jackknifed Semi Crash on I-10

Anthony, TX (November 15, 2023) - There were confirmed injuries after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in the Anthony area on Sunday, November 12. The accident was reported on Interstate 10 EB at around 11:26 a.m. A semi-truck was traveling on the interstate when the vehicle jackknifed. All lanes were closed as emergency responders were at the scene. 

Traffic was directed to S. Desert Boulevard as emergency units were present. At this time, the severity and number of resulting injuries have not been provided at this time. The area was later reopened after the resulting wreckage was cleared by responding tow trucks. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local authorities, and more information will be provided as it continues.
