Flint, TX (October 3, 2023) - On Sunday, October 1, an East Texas woman was killed after being involved in a crash with a semi-truck in Flint.
The deadly crash was reported on Highway 155 SB near Farm to Market Road 2661 in Smith County that night at around 9:05 p.m. A 36-year-old woman from Frankston was traveling southbound on the highway when she was hit by an oncoming 18-wheeler. She was ejected in the collision.
The 49-year-old Houston man driving the semi was reportedly not hurt in the crash. The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information on the deadly crash has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials. More information will be provided as it continues.
