New Caney, TX (September 4, 2023) - On Thursday, August 31, a crash involving a train and a commercial truck in New Caney resulted in injuries.
The accident reportedly involved a cement mixer and a train early that morning. The rig was traveling through a set of railway tracks when it was hit by an oncoming locomotive. The impact caused the trailer to become detached. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties.
The area was temporarily closed while paramedics were present. At this time, no updates on the severity and number of resulting injuries have been determined.
