Houston, TX - Woman Hurt in Crash with 18-Wheeler at US-290 & I-610

Houston, TX (June 16, 2023) - On Friday morning, June 16, a driver sustained critical injuries after a collision involving a semi-truck in the Houston area. 

The accident was reported on the connecting ramp between US-290 and Interstate 610 at around 1:38 a.m. A woman was driving on the ramp when she was hit by an oncoming 18-wheeler. The impact caused the passenger car to fall 18 feet into a grassy median below. 

The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition. No other injuries have been provided at this time.
