Brownwood, TX (May 20, 2023) - On Friday, May 19, a man from Early was killed after crashing head-on with a box truck in Brownwood.
At around 3:45 a.m., the deadly accident was reported on Farm to Marker Road 2126. It was reported that a 79-year-old Early man was traveling south in a 2014 Ford Fusion. The vehicle crashed head-on with an oncoming 2018 Great Dane box-truck semi-trailer in the northbound lanes.
The man driving the Ford sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional updates have been provided at this time.
Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
