In another victory for a child who has no voice of his own, Rasansky Law Firm achieved a seven figure settlement for a child who, as a result of negligence by the hospital and nursing staff, was born with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy and cerebral palsy.

Even though the physician was in the hospital at the time of delivery, a nurse in the labor and delivery unit failed to apprise him of critical information which indicated fetal distress. The physician testified that had he been made aware of the full extent of the child’s condition, he was would have delivered the baby sooner.

The case was settled for $2,997,000.00.
