Killeen, TX – Corey Dean Reed Jr Killed in Motorcycle Crash on FM 3470

Killeen, TX (August 14, 2020) – A motorcycle accident re3ported on Wednesday evening claimed one man’s life in the Killeen area. At approximately 8:30 p.m., on August 12, the Killeen Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 3470.

Reports provided by the police show that 28-year-old Corey Dean Reed Jr. was riding a blue Suzuki GSX motorcycle south on Farm to Market Road 3470 when a Honda Civic cut in front of him. Reed was severely injured in the collision. He was rushed to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
