A lawsuit alleging that a driver failed to keep a proper lookout and to yield the right-of-way to a motorcyclist has been filed in Jefferson County District Court. According to reporting on the Southeast Texas Record, the motorcyclist filed a lawsuit over a March 14 incident that occurred at a stop sign.

According to the lawsuit, the motorcyclist was struck when the defendant in the claim didn’t yield the right-of-way at a stop sign where he was stopped. The motorcyclist is suing for lost wages, pain and suffering, mental anguish and the cost of medical expenses he already endured and that he is likely to endure in the future.
