Lubbock, TX – One Killed in Fire on County Rd 7360

Lubbock, TX (November 25, 2020) – A fire incident reported in the Lubbock area claimed the life of one person on Tuesday. At approximately 8 p.m., on November 24, the Lubbock Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene of a fire incident on County Road 7360.

Reports from authorities show that a fire broke at a home near 1108 County Road 7360. The fire caused severe damage to the structure. Crews spent an extended time at the scene battling the blaze. Firefighters with the Wolfforth Volunteer Fire Department, the Slaton Volunteer Fire Department, and the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department, as well as EMS, responded to the scene of the fire to assist.

By the time all firefighters arrived at the scene, the house was fully engulfed. Crews battled the blaze extensively before taking control of the incident. Once firefighters made their way into the home, they discovered one person deceased inside. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the first remains under investigation with the Fire Marshal’s Office in Lubbock.
