Fort Worth, TX – Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Loop 820

Fort Worth, TX (November 2, 2020) – An auto accident reported in the Fort Worth area sent one man to an area hospital with critical injuries. At approximately 6:15 a.m., on November 1, the Fort Worth Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Loop 820.

Reports provided by the police show that a male and a second person were traveling in a vehicle on West Loop 820. While traveling down the road, the man and the second person became involved in a verbal altercation. This resulted in the vehicle being pulled over to the side of the road near Team Ranch Road. The man exited the vehicle and began to walk down the interstate.

After a short distance, the man was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash. He was airlifted from the scene to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries. No other parties involved in the crash were injured.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
