Irving, TX (October 20, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash reported on Sunday morning claimed one woman’s life. At approximately 4:45 a.m., on October 18, the Irving Police Department responded to the site of a crash on Loop 12.
Reports show that a woman was traveling on the southbound lanes of Loop 12 when her vehicle became disabled near Northwest Highway. The woman’s vehicle came to rest near the right lane of the highway. As the vehicle came to a halt, it was rear-ended by a second vehicle.
A passerby witnessed the crash and attempted to pull the driver out of the second vehicle. During the attempt, a third vehicle crashed into the rear, causing the woman to be ejected out of the second vehicle. The woman flew over the highway bridge onto the Elm Form Trinity River creek bed.
