Austin, TX – Woman Injured When Struck by Vehicle on I-35

Austin, TX (September 24, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the East Congress district sent one woman to an area hospital with injuries. Just after 9:15 a.m., on September 23, the Austin-Travis County EMS assisted the police at the scene of an accident on Interstate Highway 35.

Reports show that a female pedestrian was attempting to cross in the 4320 block of the South Interstate Highway 35 Frontage Road when she was struck by a vehicle.

The woman sustained injuries in the accident. Emergency crews located the woman alert and awake at the scene of the accident. She was suffering from head injuries as a result of the crash.

Medics rendered treatment to the woman at the scene and transported her to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the police in Austin are investigating the accident.
