Houston, TX – Two Killed in Rideshare Accident on Jensen Dr

Houston, TX (September 20, 2020) – A vehicle collision on Saturday evening claimed the lives of two victims in the Houston area. At approximately 11:30 p.m., on September 19, the Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Jensen Drive after the driver ran a red light.

Rather than pull over on to the side of the road, the driver fled the scene at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle approached the intersection with Parker Road, it struck a rideshare vehicle that was making a left turn from Jenson onto Parker Road.

Two passengers inside the rideshare vehicle were fatally injured in the crash. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the at-fault vehicle may face criminal charges. However, investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
