Haltom City, TX – Multiple Fatalities Reported in Crash on NE Loop 820 (I-820)

Haltom City, TX (August 31, 2020) – A collision reported in Haltom City claimed the lives of multiple victims on Sunday, August 30. The Haltom City Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS responded to the scene of the crash on North Loop 820.

Reports provided by authorities show that two vehicles collided head-on along the eastbound side of North Loop 820 near the intersection with Denton Highway. The impact of the collision caused one vehicle to burst into flames. Haltom City firefighters were able to knock down the fire within a reasonable timeframe.

At least three people were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. One victim was airlifted from the site of the crash to a hospital in Fort Worth with critical injuries. At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
