Orange, TX – Injuries Reported in Truck Accident on I-10

Orange, TX (August 18, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Monday evening resulted in a complete shutdown of the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Orange. On August 17, the Texas Department of Public Safety was called to the scene of a collision on Interstate 10.

Reports show that a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on the westbound side of the interstate near the Simmons overpass. The crash resulted in sprawling delays through the area as emergency crews worked to clear the vehicles from the roadway. At least one person involved in this crash was rendered aid for their injuries. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
