Beaumont, TX – Three People Struck by Vehicle on Oak Trace Dr

Beaumont, TX (July 30, 2020) – An accident in the Beaumont area sent a family of three to local hospitals with injuries. At approximately 6:45 p.m., on July 29, the Beaumont Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Oak Trace Drive.

Reports provided by authorities show that a man, woman, and their child were walking on Oak Trace Drive, in front of their home, when they were struck by a vehicle near the intersection with Delaware Street. All three victims were injured in the crash. The man and woman were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The child was transported via medical helicopter to a hospital in Houston for treatment of serious injuries. The vehicle was located in a grassy area near the back yard of a home. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene of the crash. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
