Houston, TX – Two Injured in Plane Crash on Boulder Oaks Dr

Houston, TX (July 28, 2020) – A plane accident reported on Tuesday morning sent two victims to area hospitals with injuries. Just before 2 a.m., on July 28, the Cy-Fair firefighters and deputies with the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 were called to the site of a collision in the 15700 block of Boulder Creek Drive.

Reports provided by authorities show that a single-engine Piper PA-28 Cherokee plane took off from an airport in Tyler and was traveling to Sugar Land when it lost altitude and crashed in the front yard of a home in the Bear Creek section of Houston. Two people inside the plane sustained injuries in the accident. One person was hospitalized with serious injuries. The condition of the second victim is unknown at this time. However, the second victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment as well. At this time, deputies from the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
