Katy, TX – Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Greenhouse Rd

Katy, TX (July 24, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday left one young child critically injured in the Katy area. On July 22, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5700 block of Greenhouse Road.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 3-year-old boy was walking near the Commons at Hollyhock apartments when he was struck by a vehicle. The boy sustained critical injuries in the accident. He was airlifted from the site of the crash to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are ongoing.
