Tyler, TX – Three Victims Injured in TX-64 Head-On Collision

Tyler, TX (July 12, 2020) – At approximately 4:30 a.m., on July 11, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Texas Highway 64.

Reports from DPS show that a Ford SUV and a Chevrolet Camaro collided on Texas Highway 64 near the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport. The impact of the collision caused the Ford to rollover. One passenger in the Camaro and two people inside the SUV were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The driver of the Camaro was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. At this time, DPS is investigating.
